The heavy duty look of an Urban Shed comes from the wide trim boards around the top edge. That trim is there for a reason. It encloses full 2x6 rafters, delivering strength and durability that most shed builders do not include. Urban Sheds are built tough by default.
Concrete Blocks: For smaller sheds (10x12 or under), concrete blocks are usually the most efficient and cost-effective option. They work well when the slope is minor and provide a stable, long-lasting foundation.
Level Stone Pad: For sheds larger than 10×12, we recommend a crushed stone pad. It offers better support, drainage, and long-term stability for heavier structures.
Retaining Wall: If the ground is far out of level, you may need a small retaining wall to create a stable, level build area before the shed is installed.
